FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What kinds of projects does TwinTech Studios accept?
Websites, e-commerce stores, custom web applications, UI/UX design, AI automation, security work, branding, SEO, digital media, and ongoing support. If your project sits outside these, ask anyway; we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
Do you work with businesses outside Texas?
Yes. We are based in Dallas–Fort Worth and work with clients locally, nationally, and internationally. Most collaboration happens remotely and works smoothly.
Do you redesign existing websites?
Yes. Redesigns are a large part of our work. We audit what is working, keep it, and rebuild what is holding you back.
Can you build an online store? Do you work with Shopify?
Yes to both. Shopify is our primary e-commerce platform, and we will tell you candidly whether it fits your catalog and workflow before committing.
Can you maintain a website after launch?
Yes. Support plans cover updates, backups, security, content changes, and improvements. We also support many sites we did not originally build, after a brief technical review.
Can you help us choose the right platform?
That is one of the most valuable conversations we have. We advise on builders versus custom, commerce platforms, and hosting based on your stage and trajectory, not on what we happen to sell.
Do you provide website content and branding?
We can work with your existing content, refine it, or create it with you, and full branding is one of our core services.
Can you help with cybersecurity?
Yes: assessments, hardening, access practices, backups, and awareness. Our security work is scoped per engagement and does not replace formal legal, compliance, or forensic services where those are required.
Do you build custom software and integrate AI?
Yes. Dashboards, portals, booking systems, internal tools, and practical AI automation with human review built in.
How long does a project take?
It depends on scope, which is an honest answer rather than an evasive one. We set a realistic timeline during the Define stage and keep you updated against it.
How much does a project cost?
Projects are quoted according to scope, functionality, timeline, content needs, integrations, and support requirements. Start a project inquiry and we will prepare a custom proposal; we do not publish one-size-fits-all prices.
What information do you need before starting?
Your goals, your audience, your content situation, your timeline, and access to what you own (domain, hosting, current site). Our article on preparing to hire a developer covers the full list.
Will we own our website and be able to update it?
Ownership and licensing are defined clearly in the project agreement before work begins. Note that third-party tools, licensed assets, software subscriptions, plugins, hosting accounts, and platforms remain governed by their own terms. We build for maintainability and provide training so your team can handle routine updates.
Do you provide hosting?
We help you choose and configure reliable hosting in your own accounts, so you always control your infrastructure, and we can manage it under a support plan.
Do you provide SEO?
Yes, technical and on-page foundations, local search setup, and content architecture. We do not guarantee rankings, and we recommend avoiding anyone who does.
Can you work with our existing team?
Yes. We regularly collaborate with in-house staff, marketers, and other vendors, and we are comfortable being one part of a larger effort.
What happens after launch?
Training, documentation, and a support path. Launch is the beginning of the platform's life, not the end of the relationship.
